NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Monthly electric bills for resident in the Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans will climb by 31 percent over the next four years. That’s according to a resolution approved Wednesday by the New Orleans City Council’s Utility Committee endorsing an agreement reached in principle between the council’s utility advisers and officials with Entergy Louisiana.
