WASHINGTON (AP) — A new report says Latinos in America are optimistic about their lives, despite challenges posed by discrimination, job insecurity and personal finances.

The report released Tuesday by NPR, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Harvard School of Public Health is based on a poll of nearly 1,500 Latino Americans.
