Authorities in California found a body in the lake where actress Naya Rivera went missing after boating with her son.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office announced in a tweet on Monday that a body was found and that the recovery was underway at Lake Piru. Authorities did not immediately identify the body.

Rivera, an actress who starred in the show Glee, has been missing and presumed dead for several days after renting a boat last week.

“A body has been found at Lake Piru this morning. The recovery is in progress,” the sheriff’s department stated. Police are planning to hold a news conference at 2 p.m. local time.

The department announced that it would be providing additional details on the situation in a press conference later in the day Monday.

The search for Rivera has involved more than 100 individuals, including divers and other law enforcement officials. Rivera rented a boat with her 4-year-old son. Her son was found safely in the boat with a life jacket on, but Rivera’s life jacket and identification were left in the boat.

Her son told authorities that the two had gone swimming, but it is not clear what caused Rivera to go missing. Rivera is one of several members from the cast of Glee to suffer a tragedy in recent years.
