The hosts of The View became engaged in an argument Friday as several of the ladies claimed that antisemitism is primarily driven by the Right and is left unaddressed by people in power.
According to Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin, the issue should not be considered a problem for “both sides” because they claim the Democratic Party addresses antisemitism within its ranks.
“The difference is, when it comes from the Left, the Democrats speak out against it. When it comes from the Right, it’s silence. That’s the difference,” Joy Behar agreed, after acknowledging that “it is not just from the Right. It is from the Left.”

Disagreeing, Sara Haines said it is “equally represented and allowed on both sides, full stop,” but Hostin further vocalized her difference of opinion.
Haines then noted that sometimes antisemitism gets a pass because it can become embroiled in Middle Eastern policy, which Behar claimed is from the Left.
“It’s gotten passes across the spectrum,” Haines added.
“The reason why I don’t think this is a ‘both sides’ type of thing is because you have a Joe Biden who, two days ago, got up and made a full speech in front of the nation against hate-fueled violence,” Navarro explained.
When pressed on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s history of antisemitism, Navarro dismissed it, claiming, “Nancy Pelosi made her apologize. Nancy Pelosi condemned it.”
According to Hostin, “I think the Trump years unleashed the underbelly of this country. Really gave them permission to be antisemitic and to be racist.”

She further attributed celebrities being antisemitic, namely Kyrie Irving, to the lack of “consequences” for athletes who refused to be vaccinated. “There were no consequences to that behavior. Just like [Novak Djokovic]. No real consequences to that behavior. When there are no consequences to behavior, this is what we see.”
