D.C. Mayor Vince Gray went to Hollywood on Thursday and he’ll be there for the next three days courting the movie and television industry.
Gray is also attending a U.S. Conference of Mayors leadership meeting.
Gray might not have too many bargaining chips with the Hollywood big wigs. The city has no funding to give them the tax breaks other states use to lure movie and television production companies.
But, Gray said, the District “has an incredible talent base and resources.”
