Speaker of the House John Boehner, R-Ohio., said the president’s budget proposal released Monday provided the American people with a “good laugh”.
Boehner criticized President Obama’s plan that he said calls for higher taxes, more spending and a larger government in Washington. He added the budget is full of “the same old policies that have failed for the last six years.”
The White House announced on Monday a nearly $4 trillion budget.
