WATCH: Saturday Night Live parodies A Marriage Story with Kellyanne and George Conway

Saturday Night Live mocked Kellyanne and George Conway’s relationship by making it a parody of Netflix’s A Marriage Story, a meme-friendly film about a divorcing couple.

Kellyanne Conway, 52, a top aide to President Trump, and George Conway, 56, a Trump critic and conservative lawyer, are played by Kate McKinnon and Beck Bennett, respectively. Scarlett Johansson, who stars in the film, played the Conways’ therapist.

Taking a cue from the movie, the political spouses list their favorite qualities about one another while in therapy, but then try to undermine each other.

“What I love about Kellyanne: She works so hard for her boss, even though I hate his guts,” Bennett, depicting George, said.

Kellyanne, played by McKinnon, said she loves that George will always tell her what he thinks about her to her face. The scene then cuts to George assuring his wife he’s not mad at her while they have dinner at a restaurant. George then sends a tweet that says, “Anyone who works for Trump is a demon,” and Kellyanne gets a notification on her cellphone for the tweet.

“George Conway, don’t subtweet me at the dinner table, please,” she said.

The sketch later parodies the movie’s most memorable fight scene.

“You’re not even verified on Twitter! Where’s your blue check, George?!” screamed Kellyanne, prompting George to punch a hole in the wall.

The Conways’ marriage has repeatedly made headlines for their differences in opinion Trump. Kellyanne Conway has been known to berate reporters who mention her husband in stories about her.
