President Trump announced Wednesday that he will send an all-female delegation to watch the Women’s World Cup final, led by Deputy Secretary of Commerce Karen Dunn Kelley and including Peace Corps Director Josephine Olsen and Jamie McCourt, U.S. ambassador to France, among others.
The final will feature the United States Women’s National Team, which defeated England Tuesday to reach the final.
Trump has clashed with team captain Megan Rapinoe, who refuses to sing during the national anthem and who has already rejected a potential White House invitation to the team.

….in our Country’s history, and the poverty index is also best number EVER), leagues and teams love coming to the White House. I am a big fan of the American Team, and Women’s Soccer, but Megan should WIN first before she TALKS! Finish the job! We haven’t yet….

The three-time World Cup champions have reached the final for the third straight time. In 2015, then-Vice President Joe Biden was among the delegates who watched the game. The team will play either Sweden or the Netherlands in the Saturday final.
