$225 million Powerball winner in California

SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) — A lucky person in Northern California has won a $225 million Powerball jackpot.

The California Lottery says in a tweet that the winner in San Mateo, south of San Francisco, matched all six numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing: 7, 14, 21, 24, 41 and 26.
