Trump to Obama: ‘It’s not guns. It’s terrorism’

Donald Trump says the Democrats need to understand when it comes to Orlando, “It’s not guns. It’s terrorism.”

The Republican presumptive presidential nominee says “radical Islamic terrorism,” and not the availability of firearms, led to last week’s shooting of 49 people in Orlando, Fla., by a man who pledged himself to the Islamic State.

Trump has pounded the president for a week for not naming the problem as Islamic terrorism. But Trump also took some heat of his own for suggesting he would talk to the National Rifle Association about a potential compromise on new gun control legislation.

Trump warned that if he isn’t elected president, things will get much worse than the Orlando shooting. “You are going to have problems the likes you’ve never seen unless Donald Trump becomes your president,” Trump said to cheers.

“If you think Orlando was the end of it,” he said, “it wasn’t.”
