DC transportation officials will hold a public meeting later this month to discuss the city’s plans for expanding Capital Bikeshare.
The popular program, which also operates in Arlington County, allows riders to rent bikes at one location and leave them at another. The District Department of Transportation plans to add 25 new stations and 250 new red bikes starting this summer. The expansion is expected to be complete this fall.
The meeting, scheduled for May 25 at 6 p.m., will give residents a chance to comment on the potential bike station locations around the District.
