Pearl Harbor shooter identified, used service rifle in slaying

The man who shot three men and then killed himself at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii has been identified.

Gabriel Romero, 22, was revealed to be the perpetrator of the Wednesday shooting that killed two men and wounded a third. He was an active-duty sailor assigned to the USS Columbia, a 360-foot submarine. The shooting took place at one of the dry docks at about 2:30 p.m. local time.
