NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A gift from the Country Music Association is helping elementary students make music in Bronx, N.Y.
The foundation of the Nashville-based CMA donated $20,000 through its Keep the Music Playing Program to outfit two music rooms at P.S. 103, The Hector Fontanez School, with instruments and supplies. The Education Through Music initiative is providing two credentialed teachers for the school’s music instruction.
