Ryan: Dems playing ‘Medi-scare’ politics to fight GOP

Republicans Thursday rejected the idea that the incoming Trump administration will work with the GOP-led Congress to gut Medicare and replace it with a so-called voucher system.

Senate Republicans pointed to a packed schedule beginning in January that would allow no time for taking on the massive and politically treacherous move to reform entitlements.
