The 3-minute interview: Kyle Brady

Kyle Brady has entered the business world long before he earns a college degree. Brady, a 20-year-old Towson native studying engineering at San Jose State University, has established his own technology company, Intuitive Industries LLC, and designed a Web-based business-to-consumer interactive product, mySHOUToutLOUD.com.

Brady spoke to The Examiner last week about starting his own company and designing Web products.

Have you always wanted to be an entrepreneur?

I?ve always liked working for myself. When I was in junior high, I started my own neighborhood snow-removal business, operating and expanding the business through high school. I eventually sold the business to my brother. In high school, if anyone ever had a computer problem, they came to me for help. I was that guy.

What made you want to design the business-to-consumer site?

It was actually my dad?s idea. I?ve had some problems with customer service and technical support. There are a lot of problems with the service industry. The site allows consumers to post their complaints about products or services, and businesses can sign up for accounts to view the comments and interact with the consumers. The consumer information is kept private, and we also provide market research for the businesses.

Why do you think the site will be successful?

The businesses can learn what consumers don?t like about their products, and new businesses can understand what consumers are looking for in new services. It?s a lot more than just a message board for consumers.

What?s next for you and the company?

Getting attention is the hardest part. The goal in the next two years is to develop mySHOUToutLOUD.com to the point where it?s a profitable arm of Intuitive Industries.
