MSNBC anchor Brian Williams said “God forbid” family members of Larry Kudlow find out from a tweet sent by President Trump that the White House adviser went to the hospital following a heart attack Monday evening.
Reacting to the president’s tweet, which was sent from Singapore minutes before Trump was set to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Williams said on air he did not want to “put too fine a point on it. That in the moments prior to shaking the hand of Kim Jong Un, the president tweeted out this news about his long-time friend and now aide Larry Kudlow.”
“This also means that there are perhaps, God forbid, Kudlow family members who did not know this news until it showed up on the Twitter feed of Donald Trump,” Williams added.
Moments earlier, Trump tweeted: “Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack. He is now in Walter Reed Medical Center.”
