Pennsylvania exit polls show Hillary Clinton leading among union households, a demographic Bernie Sanders needed to win handily to have a chance there.

According to CNN exit polls Clinton won union households with 56 percent support whereas Sanders only won 43 percent of union homes. While campaigning in the Keystone state the Vermont senator focused on winning over the union vote by tailoring his message to working class voters and middle-class voters.
