Corpse of Russian model who called Putin a ‘psychopath’ found inside suitcase

The corpse of a 23-year-old Russian model who criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin was found stuffed inside a suitcase.

Gretta Vedler had been missing for roughly a year, disappearing shortly after she called Putin a “psychopath” during a rant posted to social media, according to a report.

The model’s ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Dmitry Korovin, has reportedly confessed that he killed Vedler by strangulation.

Korovin also said he drove her corpse roughly 300 miles to the region of Lipetsk in Russia, where he discarded the body in the trunk of a vehicle, according to a report.

For three nights, the boyfriend said he slept beside his girlfriend’s corpse, which was crammed inside a suitcase, the report noted.

After he abandoned the body, Korovin continued posting to Vedler’s social media accounts so her following would not notice her disappearance, he said, according to the report.

The young model chastised Putin’s actions against protesters and called for a greater push regarding Russian integrity in a rant before her disappearance, the report noted.

“I can only assume, in my opinion, clear psychopathy or sociopathy is seen in him. For psychopaths, it is important to constantly experience a sense of fullness and sharpness of life, so they love risk, intense experiences, intense communication, intense activity — an intense and dynamic life,” she posted, according to a report.
