Educate Inc., a Baltimore-based education company, reported a 5 percent revenue increase for the first quarter of 2007, compared with the same time last year.
For the quarter, revenue rose to $97.2 million, while operating income jumped 42 percent.
The company?s Educate Services division reported that revenue grew 6 percent for the quarter compared with the same time in 2006. Educate said the increase was due to growth of European business and more Catapult Learning contracts
