Obama’s military vote

Army Command Sgt. Major Michelle Jones of Washington D.C. retired recently as the top ranking non-commissioned officer in the Army and as the representative of all enlisted troops in the military. She endorsed Barack Obama and spoke in glowing terms of his commitment to veterans. “When it comes to the national shame of too many homeless veterans, Senator Obama has a simple policy – zero tolerance,” Jones said. It was a line that 2006 Illinois congressional candidate Tammy Duckworth repeated later in the evening.
