White House: No back-up plan if Clinton is indicted

Democrats have no Plan B for a presidential nominee if Hillary Clinton is indicted for her handling of sensitive information during her tenure as secretary of state, at least according to the White House.

“Not that I’m aware of,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest answered on Friday when asked if Democrats have a contingency plan.

He also refused to engage in the “hypothetical” of what President Obama would do if Clinton is in criminal jeopardy before Election Day.

“That’s a hypothetical situation,” he said. “I won’t get into that.”
