New Metrobus device reminds operators how to drive

Metro is installing a new audio warning device to alert pedestrians of a bus turning at an intersection.

The device is intended to warn people crossing the street of the oncoming bus. The device shouts, “Pedestrians, bus is turning!” But an interior speaker in the device also tells drivers, “Caution, look both ways.”
