West Liberty breaks ground on health sciences hall

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. (AP) — Construction of a health sciences building is officially under way at West Liberty University.

Media outlets report that the university broke ground for the Campbell Hall of Health Sciences on Monday. The event also featured a breakfast celebration to honor the school’s new Physician Assistant Program.

President Robin Capehart says the health sciences building will allow West Liberty to expand the number of disciplines offered.

Construction is expected to be completed by November 2013.
