MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Memphis political officials were on hand Thursday to kick off a $43 million improvement project on Elvis Presley Boulevard.

Mayor A C Wharton, Councilman Harold Collins and other Memphis-area officials attended the groundbreaking.
