Towson University will offer a post-baccalaureate certificate in arts integration for practicing teachers and postgraduates who wish to learn to integrate the arts in curriculum.
The certificate is based on research that arts integration is an instruction strategy that yields benefits for students, including increased learning in other subject areas, according to Towson officials.
The certificate program will be open to those who have completed a bachelor?s degree at an accredited institution. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Courses can be taught on-site in local school districts.
