For six years on ABC, she was known as Carol Brady, the “Brady Bunch” mom who had everything, including six children, a loving husband and a housekeeper all moms coveted.
In real life, she?s Florence Henderson, a veteran actress with more than 50 years of experience on the stage, screen and television. Currently you can see her participating in VH1?s sixth season of the Surreal Life, and now at Harford Community College on May 14.
Celebrate Mother?s Day with one of the favorite television moms of all time at the Amoss Center at Harford Community College. The event takes place from 3 to 5 p.m., with singing, reminiscing and a reception with Henderson filled with refreshments and desserts.
All moms get a complimentary flower, and the proceeds from the event will benefit the HCC Foundation Inc.
The nonprofit foundation works to coordinate private giving to the college for scholarships for students and grants to continue programs at the school.
