The Left and the media are trying to ‘bully’ Trump out of running for president again: Lawyer

Alina Habba, an attorney for former President Donald Trump, said that he is being “bullied” out of running for president in 2024 by the Left and the media.

Habba shared her assessment of how she feels Trump is being treated on Newsmax’s Eric Bolling The Balance Thursday.

“I have to tell you, it energizes him. I think it energizes his base,” Habba said. “I think when people see anybody being bullied, which is ironic because when you see the left-wing politics and media always like to say, you know, ‘Bullying is wrong. We’re pro-this. We’re pro-that,’ well, what makes it OK, then, to bully someone just because they are Republican? Or because they happen to be your biggest political threat?”

“You’re trying to now bully somebody out of running, and I have some news for you. Keep going, guys, because he does not get intimated,” Habba said. “Donald Trump does not get intimidated. He gets invigorated.”

The former president is facing multiple investigations and scrutiny for his handling of the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, among other criticisms from opponents.
