Sarah Palin: ‘It’s RINO season’

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she’s ready to help drain the swamp of Washington, D.C., and said Republicans in name only, or RINOs, better watch out.

“There’s a new sheriff in town. Here’s hoping he’s got a posse of deputies who understand why we elected Donald J. Trump and won’t undermine our movement. The mandate: drain the swamp — those hell-bent on obstruction included. It’s RINO season,” Palin wrote in an op-ed for Breitbart.

Palin, one of the first politicians to back Trump during the primaries, said the country “will recover” from policies enacted and made law by Obama, including “astronomically increased debt, a disrespected law enforcement and military community, numerous ticked off allies, newly empowered enemies, erasure of borders, and demographic divisions aplenty.”

Going forward, Palin said her focus is not entirely on overcoming Obama’s legacies but trying to “recover from the people who voted for him. Twice.”
