“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert declared “I won,” after President Trump called him a “no-talent guy” in an interview Thursday.
“The president of the United States has personally come after me and my show, and there’s only one thing to say: Hehehehe!” Colbert said. “Yay, yay!” he said while blowing kisses, as the audience cheered him on, chanting “Stephen.”

Trump, in an interview with Time on Thursday, blasted Colbert for his monologue on the “Late Show.” He said, “You see a no-talent guy like Colbert. There’s nothing funny about what he says.”
“And what he says is filthy. […] And it only builds up my base. It only helps me, people like him,” Trump said.
In his reply, Colbert said, “Mr. Trump, there’s a lot you don’t understand. But I never thought one of those things would be show business. Don’t you know I’ve been trying for a year to get you to say my name. And you were very restrained, admirably restrained. But now you did it. I won!”
The issue began last week when Colbert attacked Trump with crude jokes about the president’s interview with CBS. Colbert joked that the president is “turning into a real prick-tator” and that Trump’s “mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s cock holster.”
The diss drew some gasps from his audience and launched calls for an FCC investigation over whether or not you can say that on network television.
