Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn, said he maintains “very positive thoughts” about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in spite of two allegations of sexual misconduct when he was a teenager.
Corker said he won’t decide how he’ll vote on the nominee until the end of the “proper process,” including a Thursday hearing that will air an allegation by Christine Blasey Ford that Kavanaugh tried to sexually assault her while the two were in high school.

“I think you’ve got a serious allegation that’s been made so I want the proper process to hear that out,” Corker said. “But I enter it with very positive feelings about the nominee and note the process needs to be handled in the appropriate way.”
Corker said the situation with Kavanaugh, which now involves a second, uncorroborated allegation, “is obviously becoming a circus-like kind of deal,” and he plans to remain neutral about the charges until he hears both Kavanaugh and Ford testify.
“But I do want to say I enter it with good feelings about the nominee,” he said.
