A notable pro-Trump YouTube channel had its ability to upload content temporarily suspended.
Right Side Broadcasting Network, an online news station best known for its coverage of former President Donald Trump’s rallies and public events, said on Tuesday that the video streaming service temporarily restricted RSBN’s channel for allegedly spreading election misinformation.
“On Tuesday, we were notified that our abilities to livestream and upload content have been suspended for one week after Youtube deleted two of our videos that allegedly violated their company policies,” RSBN said in a press statement.
CHRISTIAN POST TWITTER RESTRICTED FOR IDENTIFYING RACHEL LEVINE AS A MAN
The two videos deleted included an interview with Trump at a South Carolina rally and an interview with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene at last month’s Conservative Political Action Conference.
A spokesperson from Youtube confirmed to the Washington Examiner that RSBN received a strike against its account for violating the election integrity policy, which “prohibits content that advances false claims that widespread fraud changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.”
“Giving no respect to our First Amendment rights, Youtube claims that these videos contain ‘election misinformation’ and a lack of ‘sufficient’ context, warranting their removal,” the channel argued.
The channel intends to continue streaming content on the YouTube alternative Rumble, including this Saturday’s Trump rally in Commerce, Georgia.
RSBN has streamed pro-Trump conservative events, including the former president’s rallies, CPAC, and other gatherings. While the channel has promoted Trump’s perspective, it has also attempted to maneuver around those claims to avoid straight bans. In February 2021, an RSBN host stopped MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell from spreading vaccine misinformation on-air due to the risk of YouTube shutting down the channel.

Several social media platforms have been censoring conservative accounts over their conduct online. Both the Babylon Bee and the Christian Post were suspended from posting on Twitter for calling Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine, who identifies as a transgender woman, a man.
Representatives from RSBN did not respond to a request for comment from the Washington Examiner.
