Trump’s team comfortable using stolen emails to fight Clinton

Donald Trump’s presidential campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said Thursday she is comfortable using stolen information to help the GOP nominee win next month’s election.

Conway told MSNBC that she did not have any problem using material potentially stolen by Russian intelligence agencies to disrupt American democracy.

“Are you completely comfortable with the campaign using, and sort of trafficking in, information stolen by the Russian intelligence services?” MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace asked, referring to WikiLeaks’ publishing of private Clinton campaign correspondence. U.S. intelligence officials have said some entity in Russia is behind the hacks.

“I am, Nicolle,” Conway answered. “And Donald Trump, he addressed that last night.”

“And I really take personal offense every time I hear somebody on team Clinton, bunch of great professionals over there whom I respect, or Secretary Clinton herself saying the quote ‘Trump campaign knows this’ or is somehow colluding with Russia,” she said. “I’m the campaign manager and that is simply not true.”
