MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace: ‘The Republican Party sucks, but you can still find non-criminal Republicans’

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace lambasted the Republican party on Friday, saying they “suck” while discussing Environmental Protection Agency head Scott Pruitt’s tenure in the administration.

“I’m sorry, the Republican Party sucks, but you can still find non-criminal Republicans,” Wallace said on MSNBC’s “Deadine” on Friday.

Wallace, who worked as communications director in President George W. Bush’s White House, made the remarks while discussing the outgoing EPA head with former CIA agent Evan McMullin.

During the back-and-forth, McMullin called Pruitt a “mini Trump.”

“In Pruitt, you see the same sort of thing. He promised to deliver and did deliver policy changes from the EPA,” McMullin said.

“The Republicans may admit he did some things that weren’t quite right, but at the same time—” McMullin said before Wallace interjected.

“Not quite right? I mean there are 13 investigations he may have committed a crime,” Wallace interrupted.

The comments come one day after Trump accepted the embattled EPA director’s resignation.
