Biden appears in fratty ‘Funny or Die’ PSA

Vice President Joe Biden went undercover as a college student in a “Funny or Die” public service announcement against sexual assault released Tuesday.

In a scenario reminiscent of the “Jump Street” movie series, the vice president and “Pitch Perfect” and “Workaholics” actor Adam Devine team up to pose as less-than-convincing undergrads at a house party. The video is part of the White House’s It’s On Us pledge initiative led by Biden to reduce sexual assault.

“Let’s rock and roll,” Biden says as he and the actor share a fist bump, who alters his usual professional uniform only with dark shades at the evening party. The vice president fears at one point he has blown his cover while beginning one of his famously folksy personal stories.

“So, I am back at the White House, talking to Barack Obama,” said Biden, before quickly changing his story while chatting with the befuddled students. “I mean, I am at the frat house, watching a program about llamas on YouTube. Ya know?”

The video gets a little more serious as the two take to the stage at the alcohol-fueled party to deliver a message encouraging people to look out for the safety of those who are too drunk to consent.

“It’s on all of us to change the culture to prevent sexual assault,” said Biden, before encouraging people to sign the It’s On Us pledge.
