MSNBC host Joy Reid’s controversial defunct blog published a photoshopped image of Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., on the body of the Virginia Tech shooter during his 2008 presidential campaign.
The October 2007 blog post, which was resurfaced by BuzzFeed News on Thursday, has McCain’s face on the body of Seung-Hui Cho, the man who killed 32 people at Virginia Tech in 2007.
The post, “Baghdad John Strikes Again,” was accompanied with a quote from McCain on the campaign trail explaining how he would follow Osama Bin Laden “to the gates of hell.”
McCain’s daughter, “The View” co-host Meghan McCain, called the post “beyond disgusting and disgraceful” in a tweet.

The post is the latest in a series of resurfaced content from Reid’s old blog which has left her with a whirlwind of controversy over the past month. While MSNBC host has not commented on the McCain post, she has admitted wrongdoing or outright denied other pieces.
