NEW YORK (AP) — Fire officials in New York City added 13 names to a memorial wall of members who have died from illnesses directly related to their work at the site of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
In a somber ceremony at the New York Fire Department’s headquarters Thursday, family and friends put white roses beneath the wall where the names of their loved ones are inscribed on plaques.
