‘It’s pathetic’: Giuliani shushes Fox host during live interview

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani shushed Fox News host Howard Kurtz during a live interview.

President Trump’s personal attorney appeared Sunday on Kurtz’s program Media Buzz to defend himself and the president for asking Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to look at Joe Biden’s operations in the country during his time as vice president.

Kurtz pressed Giuliani on the veracity of the former mayor’s charges against Biden and his son, Hunter, and also questioned Giuliani’s defense of Trump. Giuliani said that he does not want the Bidens considered guilty based off of his contentions, but he wants an investigation into Hunter Biden’s role in an Ukrainian energy company, as well as the former vice president’s intentions for pushing Ukraine to fire its former chief prosecutor.

“Just listen for one second. Here’s the difference. We got an anonymous whistleblower who says that Donald Trump did something wrong. Donald Trump, like Hunter Biden, says, ‘I didn’t do anything wrong,'” Guiliani says.

Kurtz then breaks in and tells Giuliani to “forget the whistleblower.”

“We have the transcript of the call and the president’s remarks on the lawn,” Kurtz continues, referring in part to the transcript of Trump’s July 25 call with Zelensky.

Part-way through Kurtz’s answer, Giuliani began shushing the host to let the attorney finish his answer.

“Wait before you interrupt me, Howard. I know you want to defend it so bad,” Giuliani says as Kurtz denies his assertion. “It’s pathetic. Listen to me. Hunter Biden says, ‘I didn’t do anything wrong.’ Stop. No investigation. Nothing. This all should have stopped when President Trump said, ‘I didn’t do anything wrong.’ We never should have gotten the transcript if we are just going to believe them.”
