Magnitude-3.2 earthquake hits Southern California

BANNING, Calif. (AP) — A magnitude-3.2 earthquake has hit far eastern suburbs of Los Angeles. There are no reports of injuries or damage.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the small quake hit shortly after 2 p.m. PDT Saturday and was centered about 14 miles northeast of Banning, a city of 30,000 people.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Vasquez says no one called to report damage.
