Democratic Georgia State Rep. Vernon Jones challenged his state’s former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams telling her to “bring it on” if she wants a “fair fight” in the Georgia political process.
“We ain’t bullshittin’,” Jones, a vocal supporter of President Trump, told a crowd during a news conference contesting the vote counts in Georgia amid presidential election uncertainty. “Stacey Abrams, you want a fair fight? Bring it on. You’ve been like a vacuum cleaner getting all this underground money … I know one thing you’re spending it on — suppressing black people.”
Jones argued that Abrams and fellow Democrats have suppressed black voters by “intimidating” them for having “individual thoughts.”
“Let me tell you; we’re not going to stand for that. We’re not going to back down,” Jones added. “We’re going to fight. We don’t cut and run. We’re going to fight. This is a battle cry.”

A winner of the 2020 presidential race has not been declared as of Friday morning, with votes still being counted in crucial swing states including Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia.
Republicans, including the president himself, have maintained that voter fraud and other various inconsistencies warrant further scrutiny of the election results, while Democrats appear ready to claim victory once news networks declare Joe Biden has hit the 270 electoral vote threshold needed to win the White House.
Abrams, who has been described as the “architect” of Biden’s surge in Georgia that currently has him leading in the state, has said in the past that voter fraud is a “myth” and has suggested that her defeat in the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race was not valid due to “voter suppression.”
“Donald Trump is just doing his impression of Stacey Abrams from 2018 and y’all were all fine with that then,” Political commentator Erick Erickson tweeted Thursday.
