Comedian Kathy Griffin said that she hopes President Trump makes his decision on whether to attend this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner based on her presence.
“I hope he either doesn’t go just because of me, or he goes because of me,” Griffin told Howard Stern on Tuesday on SiriusXM.
Griffin announced on Twitter last month that she will attend the dinner for the first time this year as a guest of the Washington Blade.

The comedian said that she doubts the president will be at the dinner.
“He’s such a pussy,” Griffin added.
Griffin came under fire last year after she shared a photo of herself holding a prop depicting Trump’s bloody, decapitated head.
Amid his ongoing feud with the media, Trump broke tradition last year by skipping the correspondents’ dinner. The White House reportedly said in February Trump has yet to make a decision regarding the association’s dinner this year.
