Police on lookout for Takoma Park robbers

Police are on the lookout for two men who robbed a Takoma Park store at gunpoint.

Two men entered the Cellular Stop on the 7200 block of New Hampshire Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. Friday and ordered people in the store to get on the ground, according to Takoma Park police.

Police said the suspects took property and fled into a vehicle they had parked on the 1100 block of Sligo Creek Parkway.

No one was injured.

The first suspect was described as a black man in his early 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a gray North Face jacket. The second suspect was a black man in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall and wearing a black hoodie and dark pants. The two fled in a gray or silver late-1990s four-door Nissan Maxima. Anyone with information can call police at 301-270-1100.
