D.C.-area residents and visitors are likely to celebrate the Presidents Day weekend with a little snow.
The National Weather Service reports that rain and snow are likely on Sunday. Most places in the D.C. area have a 70-percent chance of precipitation and could get precipitation amounts between a quarter and a half of an inch.
Snow is also likely in the area Sunday night and into early Monday, according to the Weather Service. There is a 60 percent chance of precipitation in most of the D.C. area.
The Weather Service predicts that the high temperature on Sunday in the District will be about 38 degrees and the low will be near 23.
Forecasters said the average snowfall amount at Ronald Reagan Washington National Aiport in February is 4.8 inches. So far this month, there have been only 0.3 inches of snow.
