Driver killed in Prince George’s County crash

One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Prince George’s County early this morning, police said.

About 3:15 a.m., police responded to the 7100 block of Marlboro Pike in Forestville.

A preliminary investigation found that a vehicle traveling southbound on Marlboro Pike struck a Pepco poll and burst into flames, Prince George’s County police said. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s name wasn’t available this morning.
