A massive fire is burning within a Walmart distribution center in Indiana.
First responders are trying to combat a large fire burning at the distribution center on Wednesday in Plainfield, Indiana.
“Plainfield Fire Territory is currently responding to a large warehouse fire at the Walmart Distribution Center on Allpoints Parkway,” the town said in a statement Wednesday. “Please avoid the area at this time.”

At this time, there are no known injuries or deaths. Officials are working to gather as much information as possible to determine additional details about the fire, including its cause.
The fire and resulting smoke are visible via radar, Indianapolis meteorologist Marcus Bailey said.

While local school districts have acknowledged the fire, they say they intend to keep operating as usual, and they do not anticipate any air quality or hazmat problems.
