Trump: Podesta said ‘horrible things’ about Clinton

Hillary Clinton’s campaign chief John Podesta said “horrible things” about his candidate, Donald Trump said Wednesday.

“WikiLeaks just actually came out. John Podesta said some horrible things about you, and boy was he right,” Trump told Clinton at the third presidential debate held in Las Vegas. “He said some beauties.”

“And Bernie Sanders … said you have bad judgment. You do,” Trump said. “If you think that going into Mosul after we let the world know we’re going in … All the people we really wanted, the leaders, they’re all gone.”

It wasn’t clear what remarks by Podesta, who also served as President Bill Clinton’s chief of staff, Trump was referring to. WikiLeaks published more than 20,000 messages obtained from one of Podesta’s personal email accounts.

“John Podesta said you have terrible instincts,” Trump added. “Bernie Sanders said you have bad judgment. I agree with both.”

Clinton did not acknowledge the comment about Podesta, focusing instead on Sanders. “You should ask Bernie Sanders who he’s supporting for president. He’s said, as he’s campaigning for me around the country, that you are the most dangerous person to run for president in the modern history of America. I think he’s right,” Clinton said.
