Former President Donald Trump extended Father’s Day wishes to “Losers” and the “Radical Left” as politicians from across the political spectrum marked the holiday.
“Happy Father’s Day to all, including the Radical Left, RINOs, and other Losers of the world,” Trump said in a statement released through his political action committee, adding that he hoped everyone would “come together” eventually.
The message followed a series of Father’s Day-themed statements, including a suggestion that tickets to his speaking tour with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly would make a “great Father’s Day gift.”
The former president was not alone in sending holiday greetings. First lady Jill Biden praised her husband, President Joe Biden, writing that the president’s “boundless love” is her family’s “anchor” in an Instagram post accompanied by a family photo.
The president wished a happy Father’s Day to “father figures who enrich our character, love us unconditionally, and give so much of themselves every day so we can live lives worthy of their dreams and sacrifices.”
Former first lady Michelle Obama praised former President Barack Obama on Instagram, posting a picture of Obama with their two daughters and writing that their daughters “couldn’t have asked for a better role model” than the two-term Democratic president.
Her husband chose to highlight the efforts of Youth Guidance’s Becoming a Man program, which helps young men learn impulse control, accountability, goal-setting, respect for women, and integrity. The program partially inspired his My Brother’s Keeper Alliance initiative.
