President Trump is working all day but will be kept up to date by aides on Wednesday’s impeachment debate and may watch some on TV in between meetings.
“I’m not watching. I have not — I have not seen it,” Trump said Tuesday when asked if he would be tuning in.
Wednesday dawned with a flurry of defiant tweets ahead of tonight’s House vote. “Can you believe that I will be impeached today by the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats, AND I DID NOTHING WRONG!,” Trump wrote, asking his followers to “Say a PRAYER!”
The historic vote is expected to follow a six-hour debate in the Democratic-controlled House over the two articles of impeachment that stem from the president’s actions toward Ukraine. It could come while Trump is on stage at a campaign rally in Michigan, allowing him to deliver a prime-time response on TV.
However, the president’s press secretary insisted he would be busy working during the day rather than following every second of the proceedings.
Stephanie Grisham told the Washington Examiner, “The president will be working all day. He will be briefed by staff throughout that day and could catch some of the proceedings between meetings.”
SUCH ATROCIOUS LIES BY THE RADICAL LEFT, DO NOTHING DEMOCRATS. THIS IS AN ASSAULT ON AMERICA, AND AN ASSAULT ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!!

Two votes, on each of the articles, are expected to proceed along party lines and pass. That would set the stage for a Senate trial next month on whether to convict Trump and remove him from office.
