Victor Davis Hanson laid out the binary choice in the upcoming presidential election that has enabled Donald Trump to maintain support even among Republicans who find him an unpalatable choice for president.

The influential conservative thinker, in an interview with the Washington Examiner’s “Examining Politics” podcast, said that Trump was far from his first choice. But, said the Hoover Institution fellow, Trump is the better choice compared to Hillary Clinton.
