Michael Avenatti whines that Trump won’t tweet at him directly: ‘I’ll hand him his a–‘

Lawyer Michael Avenatti said in an interview published Friday that the president is too scared to tweet at him directly.

Avenatti, who represents porn star Stormy Daniels in her suits against Trump and his lawyer Michael Cohen, told Esquire the president “can’t handle a direct confrontation with [him].”

“He knows that I’ll hand him his ass.”

When asked for clarification, Avenatti affirmed he does believe Trump is literally afraid of him, noting “he should be.”

He hypothesized that Trump, “like most bullies,” only tweets at targets he views as “weak.”

One reason behind Trump’s lack of direct tweets to Avenatti could be the lawyer’s trigger-happy use of the block button. He has frequently blocked users critical of his non-stop public relations tour for the lawsuits, preventing them from seeing his tweets and sending responses and new messages his way.

Avenatti’s interview came the same day as a new report claiming he reached out to several Democrat operatives for help funding his and Daniels’ lawsuits against Trump and Cohen.

Avenatti has previously denied that any political groups are giving he and Daniels financial assistance, and he doubled down on Friday.

“First of all, what The New York Times is reporting never happened,” he stated.

To be clear. We’ve turned down over $200,000 from Republican donors looking to harm the president.”

“We never stated that we had not sought the money. Although, we haven’t sought the money, just to be clear about that.”
