WHO: Boeing Aircraft Co. WHAT: An audit recently found that the company overcharged the Army for multiple items, including a $12.51 helicopter gear (for which they received $650), and a $7.71 part (for which they charged $1,680).
WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: With a $1.6 trillion projected deficit, any waste of taxpayers’ money means future high taxes for everybody. Boeing has refunded the money in cases where errors were found.
